Really great little place. They are known for their country cooking which is really great, however their chicken salad is the bomb! My only gripe us that the wait is sometimes long for lunch, but if you have time it's worth it.

I had a take out order. Things were DELICIOUS. This was my first time eating Cody Js and I’m sad that it’ll probably be my last. I’m pretty sure I caught someone’s beard hair here.

Cody J's. A standard staple for Cartersville folk. My coworkers at a very nearby business ordered breakfast from Cody J's daily. (I think they delivered.?) My friend & I went there a few times for lunch. Cody J's is popular - the parking lot & restaurant is usually full! There is also a drive through if you order ahead. So yes, 'convenient & reasonably priced. The food, standard fare, 'kind of bland but the choices on the menu & specials are pretty much Southern fare.

Had fried chicken and it tasted almost like my mother's. Vegetables were fresh and well seasoned. The server was really nice and very attentive.

OMGOSH A Cartersville staple. They have the best daily special meat & sides or order from the menu it's all good. They have a dedicated menu line you can call to find out what the specials are for the day before you order. They serve up great biscuits & fixings for breakfast too starting at 6am.From salads to burgers & everything in between they have it all with fast friendly service.

first time here for the #romeocrew today. 19 romeos arrived at 10am. facilities, service, food, hospitality all fantastic. definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience.

Southern home cooling awsome nice place.

First visit. Dry tasteless overcooked fried chicken, barely warm, some dressing casserole that mistakenly had beans in it and tasted of mayonnaise, sweet tea that would shoot you straight into pre-diabetes, a generic cornbread muffin with no butter and potatoes right out of the can. The bright side was the delicious green beans. Two lunches for $23.00. Way too high for the quality.

I'm giving this place a four star for two reasons. Had the A/C really low its the second week of January. And everything on my plate was hot besides my country fried steak. It was close to room temperature. But it was still tasty. Over all nice and friendly. And good place to eat.☺

Went for lunch. Food and service were excellant. Prices f lunch a bit on above average side BUT portion size of food balanced it out. Cannot wait to try their breakfast!

Great food as always! Mashed potatoes prepared differently from all earlier visits. Potato don't have lumps. Really loved the chunks!!

I got a bacon and cheese biscuit. Lot's of yummy bacon on it. The biscuit was not my favorite. I believe it's a baking soda biscuit. I'd rather have a flaky biscuit. But just my opinion. I'll be back to try something different. 👍

Amazing place to get great country cooking! The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and the prices are fabulous. My husband and I ate breakfast here for less than $20 and got way more food than we could handle. It was amazing! The portions are huge and the food is delicious!

Awesome place to eat and home cooking

I stop at CJ's every couple of weeks. They have chicken livers for lunch, which I usually love. But the last two times I got them, they were all dried up and hard, as if they had been held on warm way too long. I'll give them one more try, though, because I LOVE my chicken-liver fix about once a month, and theirs used to be so good! The key may be to go early when they are freshly cooked.

May 31 2018 was the first time my husband and I visited this restaurant. The food was what your grandmother would put her stamp of approval on. The veggies taste so fresh you wanna go out back and look for the garden. We have been the the area for 3 years and just found home!! You guys have 2 new life long customers!! Tami and Hank Pannell
